Hey all!

I've got yet another review for you all and its over Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco. This book two in the Stalking Jack the Ripper series and I enjoyed it just as much as the first book and I'm sure you are all dying to know why! But I am going to keep this review pretty short and sweet for you all so hold on tight. We're off!!

So this is gonna be super easy because there wasn't much to this book that I didn't like. My only problem with it is literally that the slow burn will kill me.... no I kid but seriously.... CRESSWELL AND WADSWORTH FOR FREAKING LIFE MAN. Anyway the only thing I struggled with story wise is that at different intervals it felt like this book just drug little. Jury is out on why it felt that way but I think it was because I didn't invest in many of the minor characters in this book. While in book one we had a series of other characters that had semi major roles (her brother, her uncle and her cousin even) this one had one kinda stand out which is Anastaisa but she ends up disappearing mid way through the book. I did also enjoy Daciana which is Thomas's sister but she was hardly featured and I don't know if I will see her much more. But I think that without the additional characters the story line lacked a bit.

But I absolutely LOVE how Maniscalco uses real life influences so accurately in these stories and doesn't have to alter them. Being able to structure a story within an event can be so so so trying and she does it with ease. Not only that but she truly creates amazing stories from them as well. I cannot wait to reading Escaping from Houdini next month. Also... there is something to be said about an author who can create characters that their readers fall in love with everything about them. I want Audrey Rose as a friend and I want Thomas as my boyfriend. HA. But I think it goes even further to say that an author who can create two people who so genuinely feel right together from every angle is a stellar thing. This story was just so good in so many ways.

I gave Hunting Prince Dracula four and half stars. Simple as that. I can only imagine where this series goes next and I am so so excited for it!

These pages take me places and I cannot wait to see where I go next!

All my love!
